Remembering Kurt Cobain: Live Nirvana Covers

It’s been 22 years since Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain sadly and tragically took his own life on this date in 1994. The unfortunate member of the infamous 27 Club was an icon of the early 1990s grunge movement and his place among the most notable figures in rock music is indisputable. On a day of somber remembrance of a tormented talent, below are live cover performances of songs Cobain penned for Nirvana played by a number jam scene artists.

First up is Gov’t Mule performing “All Apologies” from Nirvana’s third album, 1993’s In Utero.
