New ways to react to content on EveryBlock

Very excited to see the team starting to release the design updates they have been working so hard on…much more to come!

We’ve made some changes to the way you can react to posts and comments, and report Un-Neighborly content on EveryBlock. These changes will be implemented on Friday, May 15th.

Reacting to Posts

At the bottom of a post, you’ll see the react button, the reactions count and a face representing the average of all reactions to the piece of content.


Click the button to open a pop up, click any of the faces you feel matches your feeling towards that post. You will see the reactions count to the right of the button increase by one and it is possible that the face may change to reflect your vote


Reacting to Comments

To express your opinion about a comment, click the “Thumbs Up” or “Thumbs Down” icons below each comment. If you agree or like a comment, click Thumbs Up, if you disagree with a comment, click Thumbs Down. (You’ll notice that Un-Neighborly…
